On April 6, 2026, at 19:00, at Casa Tineretului in Târgoviște, the concert-performance “In the Light of the Resurrection” will take place, an artistic event dedicated to the Easter season that blends choral music, theatrical interventions, and moments of spiritual depth. The performance brings together on the same stage: Synavlia Vocal Group – a Cluj-based ensemble of professional musicians, Gold Medal laureates at international competitions in China and Italy, active on stages and in churches across Europe. Vali V. Popescu – an actor from Târgoviște, known for the leading role in the film “Between Suffering and Amen,” a production evoking the drama of those who confessed their faith in communist prisons. Daria Lupu – soprano from Târgoviște, one of the most promising voices of the young generation. Raluca Rad – lecturer at the “Gh. Dima” National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, where she teaches general piano and piano repertoire analysis. The “Saint Sava the Sanctified” Vocal Group – an ensemble dedicated to Byzantine music and Orthodox liturgical tradition. “In the Light of the Resurrection” is conceived as a musical and narrative journey through the essential moments of Great Lent and Holy Week, an artistic reconstruction of the path to Resurrection, passing through the Cross and reaching the triumph of light. Through sacred music, arias from the international sacred repertoire, choral harmonies, monologues, and introspective moments, the performance invites the audience to a profound inner experience. The event in Târgoviște is a special joy for the ensemble members, given their ties to the city and the opportunity to offer the local audience a performance of high artistic and spiritual value.
